A young teenager walking while listening to music with headphones in Samsun, northern Turkey, crossed a pedestrian crossing without looking and did not notice a 60-tonne tram approaching: a dramatic moment that was captured by security cameras. Fortunately, the driver was able to activate the emergency brake in time, and the young girl only received an impact that threw her to the ground, without serious injuries. “I have a daughter like her, after her accident I went to her and hugged her,” explained the driver.
