Nine people were killed yesterday in Şanlıurfa, in south-eastern Turkey, after a minibus carrying a group of illegal immigrants veered off the road and fell into an irrigation canal. One person has been arrested in connection with the accident of the minibus, which was overloaded with more than 30 passengers.
