The event occurred a few days ago in the Fatih district, in the historic centre of Istanbul. A tourist from Azerbaijan who had used a taxi realised that he had forgotten his mobile phone inside the vehicle, but when he asked the taxi driver, he refused to open the door and fled with the car. Fortunately, some police officers observed the scene and a few meters later intercepted the taxi driver, who was arrested; but this incident occurs when the controversy over the victory of taxi drivers over Uber, which has been banned in Turkey, is still hot. The moment was captured by security cameras.
