Customs agents intercepted several paintings and cartoons of the Argentine soccer player Diego Armando Maradona at the Istanbul Airport, inside which 2.7 kg of cocaine were found. The paintings arrived on a flight from Colombia transported in the luggage of a 72-year-old German citizen of Croatian origin, whose behaviour aroused suspicion among the agents. The value of the seized drug exceeds $260,000.
