An open-air exhibition in Istanbul’s Taksim Square and Sultanahmet Square, organised for the 150th anniversary of Istanbul’s public transport company İETT, has sparked great interest among tourists and residents by displaying vintage buses from the 1950s and 1960s used in the city. “I’ve been here since morning, people come to see this and get emotional… I got emotional, too. Here’s the first bus I took in my life,” says a man who has lived in Istanbul since 1993.
