More than half a million Turkish citizens have already voted in the presidential and parliamentary elections that Turkey will hold next May 14, through the voting system enabled for citizens residing abroad in embassies and assigned voting centers (until 9 May) and at border crossings (until May 14). More than 3.4 million Turks residing outside the country have the right to vote in these elections, of which 277,000 will vote for the first time; Germany hosts the largest number of them (more than 1.5 million), followed by France (more than 397,000) and the Netherlands (almost 287,000).
