The current leader of the main opposition party (CHP), Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, has once again expressed his offer to be the joint candidate of the opposition National Alliance to face Erdoğan in the parliamentary and presidential elections that Turkey will hold in May, when the coalition of 6 parties will participate with a program that seeks to end the current presidential system. Although the coalition candidate will be announced on February 13, several voices within the coalition reject the option of Kılıçdaroğlu, who enjoys little popularity outside the CHP and has already faced Erdoğan in the past, without success.
