Turkey, refugees, naked by Greek police

Greek police robbed, undressed and mistreated us, say refugees

A group of refugees who were captured after crossing the border has said that Greek police stole them everything, took their clothes, and beat them before forcing them to return to Turkey. “They took our money, our mobiles, anything of value. They beat us everywhere with sticks, including women and children.” Then they took off their clothes and shoes, and forced them to cross the border river and return naked to Turkey. “The Turkish police behaved very well with us, they gave us blankets and food,” they say from a bus station in Edirne, where a Turkish businessman gives them shelter.
