Galatasaray cap off their league title by beating Fenerbahçe

Galatasaray finished off their recently achieved league title with a resounding victory achieved last night in the derby against Fenerbahçe, in what was their closing game of the 2022-2023 Super League season. Nicolo Zaniolo in a solo move beat İrfan Eğribayat to make the 1-0 in a packed Ali Sami Yen stadium, and in the second half the Argentine star Mauro Icardi finished off a corner kick on the edge of the small area, scoring the 2- 0; previously, 10 minutes before, the Brazilian Luan Peres received a direct red card for bringing down Zaniolo on the edge of the area, leaving Fenerbahçe with one less player.
