Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan said yesterday during an interview on Turkish public television TRT that sending tanks and other weapons to Ukraine cannot be part of the solution: “It is risky, it only benefits arms dealers.” “Negotiations must be supported by the declaration of a ceasefire and a just solution,” Erdoğan said, adding that Turkey’s mediating role in the conflict must be supported by Europe and other countries.
