Ankara‘s metropolitan city council has finally decided to rename a street in the Çankaya district named after the first president of Bangladesh, after many citizens complained about the difficulty in pronouncing it. This week municipal employees replaced the original signs with the name “Bangabandhu Şeyh Muciburrahman Boulevard“, which will now be renamed simply “Bangabandhu Boulevard”.
