The historic Turkish region of Cappadocia, located in the heart of Anatolia and one of the main destinations for tourism in Turkey, is empty and silent these days due to the coronavirus pandemic, despite the fact that in 2019 it received the largest number of tourists in its history, almost 4 million. Now the hotels in the area are confident that they will be able to receive their first tourists starting from June.
