The Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey (TUR), which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, concluded on Saturday in the Turkish capital with the last stage of 175 kilometers between the provinces of Çankırı and Ankara. The Kazakh cyclist from the Vino Skok team Daniel Marukhin was proclaimed the winner of the final stage, while in the general classification the victory for this centenary edition of the TUR went to the Eritrean cyclist Petros Mengs from Beykoz, who also crowned the last stage in 2nd place. .
The award ceremony took place in front of the building of the first Turkish parliament, in Ulus (Ankara). The 100th edition of the Turkish Cycling Tour has had 5 stages with a total length of 784 km. crossing the Anatolian provinces of Sivas, Amasya, Havza, Samsun, Çorum, Çankırı and Ankara, and has had the participation of a hundred athletes from 16 teams.
