Almost 2 million tourists have visited Turkish Cappadocia so far this year, which only during the month of July received 480,000 tourists. In the first 7 months of 2022, Cappadocia has received 121% more tourism than in the same period last year. The Zelve Valley, the Göreme Cave Museum, the Hacıbektaş Archaeological Museum, and the underground cities of Kaymaklı and Derinkuyu are some of the most visited destinations by tourists.
