Turkey successfully tests rocket engine for mission to Moon

Turkey successfully tested this weekend the motor of the self-made rocket that will use on its first mission to the Moon, scheduled for 2023 with an unmanned mission: plans that also include sending an astronaut into space. Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology, Mustafa Varank, visited the facilities of the Turkish company Delta V on the outskirts of Istanbul, where he attended the tests of the hybrid rocket motor and its launch system. Varank announced that the first launch test of the rocket will be carried out in a month from the Turkish province of Sinop.
