To mark the WHO‘s declaration of October as breast cancer awareness month, several streets in the city of Bursa – in northwest Turkey – have been illuminated in pink. The initiative, which was launched in 2018, has been supported by the Uludağ Electricity Distribution Company (UEDAŞ) and the Bursa Businesswomen’s Association (BUİKAD).
