Real Madrid officially confirmed this Thursday the signing of Arda Güler, a young promise of Turkish football and until now a Istanbul’s Fenerbahçe player, after both parties agreed to sign a 6-year contract that has cost the white club €20 million for the transfer, but that could amount up to 30 million euros including the bonuses. The amount paid, which exceeds the player’s termination clause of 17.5 million euros, has accelerated a transfer for which Barça and even Milan had initially applied. Arda Güler, who according to Fenerbahçe’s president had expressed his desire to leave the Turkish club, will be presented tomorrow at noon at Real Madrid City.
