More than 4 million tourists had traveled by plane to Antalya, Turkey’s main tourist resort on the Mediterranean coast, as of June 10 and since the beginning of this year: 37% more when compared to tourism figures of the last year, according to data released by the Provincial Office of Culture and Tourism. At the same time, between January and May, a total of 8 cruise ships with some 15,000 passengers on board docked in the port of Antalya, a particularly popular destination among tourists from Russia, Germany and the United Kingdom.
