Thousands of workers and employers demonstrated in Tel Aviv, Israel, on Saturday to protest against the management of the coronavirus pandemic by the Netanyahu government’s, which they accuse of failing to financially compensate for the loss of hundreds of thousands of jobs, while the unemployment is above 20%. For months, the Israeli government has failed to aid workers and companies affected by the stoppage, while infections by the virus have increased again and now exceed 1,000 daily.
