Kurdish family reunites with their son kidnapped by the PKK after 5 years

5 years after their son was kidnapped at only 13 years old by the PKK terrorist group to fight in its ranks, the Çetin family managed to meet him this week and see him with 18 years old. Since the protests of Kurdish mothers began a year ago demanding that the terrorist group return their children to them, there are now 16 families that have managed to recover their children; but more than 100 continue their protest in the form of a sit-in in Diyarbakır outside the headquarters of the nationalist HDP party, considered by many to be the political branch of the PKK.
