Turkey, women protest against PKK in Hakkari

Kurdish mothers protests against PKK in southeastern Turkey

A group of Kurdish mothers staged yesterday a protest march against the PKK terrorist group in the province of Hakkari, located in the extreme southeast of Turkey and for years one of the most punished by terrorism. The protesters wanted to show their support for the more than 100 mothers who for a year have gathered in front of the headquarters of the Kurdish nationalist party HDP in Diyarbakır demanding from the PKK the return of their children, who were forcibly recruited as minors by the terrorist organisation.
