Mechanics at Trabzon, northern Turkey, had to carry out a hard rescue of a cat that had become trapped inside a car engine. It was the driver himself who notified them, alerted by hearing the meows of the frightened animal when he started the engine. The cat was finally saved without harm and transferred to an animal care center.
