In Turkey, the first Van cats have already been born at the research and care centre for this unique breed located in eastern Anatolia. Van’s cats are a protected breed from Turkey, known for their white fur, double-coloured eyes, and for being the only cat breed in the world that likes to swim. In addition, Van’s cats are characterised by their lion-like gait, and are in high demand due to their more human-friendly nature.
