A Boeing 777 aircraft of Turkish Airlines with the first doses of the coronavirus vaccine landed early today in Ankara. The flight from Beijing carries 3 million doses of the vaccine from the Chinese biopharmaceutical company Sinovac, of which Turkey has bought 50 million doses. Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has announced that the vaccines will begin to be administered in 14 days after tests are completed. Yesterday Koca announced that 15,805 new infections have been detected in Turkey in the last 24 hours.
