Famous Turkish singer Halil Sezai was finally arrested on Thursday after controversial images of his violent attack on a 67-year-old neighbour sparked public outrage. The event occurred when Sezai entered on September 16 the property of his neighbour Hüseyin Meriç, who had been protesting Sezai’s activities at his home for 5 months; there he insulted and attacked him on several occasions. The neighbour, thinking that he was going to die, began to recite the Muslim profession of faith, further irritating the singer, which has also outraged Turkish society.
