Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan attended on Thursday as the guest of honor in the national parade organised in Baku for the victory in Karabakh of Azerbaijan, where the population took to the streets to welcome their “sister nation” and thank for the Turkish support to end the Armenian occupation. Later, Erdoğan announced that Turkey will reopen its border to Armenia if Yerevan takes steps towards peace: “We do not have any grudge towards Armenians, the problem is with their government. There are 100,000 Armenians living in Turkey,” recalled Erdoğan, who also announced an agreement for Turks and Azeris to travel to both countries without passports under the principle of “one nation, two States.”
