Edin Dzeko, the Bosnian striker announced by Fenerbahçe as a new signing for the next season of the Turkish Super League, arrived today in Istanbul to undergo a medical examination at the Turkish club’s facilities after having signed a two-year contract with the Yellow Canaries. Dzeko, who comes from Inter Milan after ending his contract with the Italian team, will earn 4.5 million euros per season. Fenerbahçe, who recently also announced the signing of Ryan Kent on a 4-year contract, is now looking for a replacement for Portuguese coach Jorge Jesús, with whom the club surprisingly announced that it would not renew his contract just one day after winning the Turkish Cup.
