A small dog named Boncuk has waited for days for his owner, Cemal Şentürk, at the door of the hospital where the latter was admitted on January 14 in the Turkish city of Trabzon. According to witnesses, the animal followed the ambulance from the house to the hospital, and although it was brought back to his house every day, Boncuk found his way back to the medical centre every time. After 6 days of treatment, Şentürk was discharged and the two were able to meet again. “Sometimes I called him from the window of my room… he has been with me for 9 years, I have missed him too,” said his owner after leaving the hospital.
