Beşiktaş closed the 2022-2023 season of the Turkish Super League managing to tie in a vibrant match played yesterday afternoon at the Vodafone Arena in Istanbul. Gedson Fernandes and Muleka each scored goals leaving the score 2-0 in favor of the Black Eagles, but just before the break Konyaspor scored through Ülgün. Just started the second half, Mahir Emreli tied the game with a header from a free kick, and just 4 minutes later the Spaniard Alejandro Pozuelo put the Konya team ahead with a nice goal from his Colombian teammate Marlos Moreno.
In the 62nd minute, Tayfur Bingöl, who had entered the pitch just 2 minutes earlier, outwitted the defense in the area and scored a goal close to the post that gave the locals a tie. Shortly after, Konyaspor was left with one less player after Ülgün was sent off with a double yellow due to an alleged nudge. The score did not change any more, and the draw leaves Beşiktaş after the last day of the Turkish Super League 3rd with 78 points, 2 behind Fenerbahçe and 10 behind the champion, Galatasaray: both did not play yesterday due to withdrawal after the earthquake of Gaziantep and Hatayspor, who are saved by TFF decision, while Giresunspor and Ümraniyespor are relegated.
