Dozens of Bayern Munich fans, who face Galatasaray this evening in the third Champions League Group A match, were involved in serious incidents in the centre of Istanbul last night, where German fans acted violently around Taksim Square and İstiklal Avenue in the city, throwing chairs, bottles and all kinds of objects. The tense moments, which came to an end after swift police intervention, were recorded by numerous witnesses with their mobile phones.
