The Turkish Stars Squadron (Türk Yıldızları) staged an impressive air show on March 18 during a big ceremony organised in Gallipoli on the occasion of the 106th anniversary of the naval Çanakkale victory, considered the greatest war victory of the Ottoman Empire during the WWI, where ottoman forces stopped an allied naval invasion of the British Empire and France to conquer Istanbul. The 134th Squadron of the Turkish Air Force, better known as Türk Yıldızları, is the only aerobatic squad in the world flying in formation with 8 supersonic aircrafts.
