At least 40 civilians were killed, 11 of them children, and another 47 wounded on Tuesday in the Syrian city of Afrin, which borders Turkey, after YPG (the Syrian branch of the PKK) terrorists blew up a truckload of fuel in a market. The YPG was expelled from Afrin in early 2019 after an operation by the Turkish army, and since then it has continued to carry out attacks in the area, killing dozens of people. Intelligence reports say the group is asking its coronavirus-infected militants to act as suicide bombers.
