Huriye Başkapan, a 105-year-old Turkish woman, has become the last centenary to beat the coronavirus, managing to overcome COVID-19 just 5 days after being diagnosed with the disease. Doctors still do not explain how Huriye, who suffers from various chronic diseases, has been able to defeat the virus so quickly and without side effects. “My illness did not last long, I did not even realise what was happening to me,” says the old woman.
