Concern about increase in attacks on health personnel in Turkey

Turkey’s Health Minister has expressed concern about the increase in attacks on health personnel, which have worsened with the pandemic. On Monday, several people tried to break into an emergency room of an Ankara hospital after a relative was killed by a gunshot, accusing of negligence to medical personnel, who had to barricade the door to prevent them from attack and call the police. Only in August there were 21 incidents of attacks on health workers in Turkey.
