Voting for Turks living abroad ends

The voting period so that Turks living abroad can cast their vote for the 2nd round of the presidential elections in Turkey, which will be held in the country next Sunday, May 28, ended yesterday. In total, the Supreme Electoral Board of Turkey (YSK) installed ballot boxes in 167 points spread over 73 countries; however, Turkish citizens outside the country will be able to vote until May 28 at border crossings. It is estimated that almost 2 million Turks from outside Turkey have voted in this second round of the elections, exceeding the participation of the 1st round.

Meanwhile, a survey carried out by the Konda company released today states that Erdoğan will win the elections in the second round with 52.7% of the votes; the poll was conducted among 3,600 people from 34 provinces of Turkey.
