Turkish amputee football team once again set an example for their senior peers, and was proclaimed European champion on Sunday after defeating Spain 6-0 in the final in Poland, with a hat-trick by Ömer Güleryüz. The Turks dominated the entire competition, scoring 36 goals and receiving only 2. In this way the amputee team, who in 2018 had been proclaimed runner-up in the world championship, once again take the title of European champion that they already achieved in 2017.
