This 75-year-old woman fights Parkinson’s by boxing

Born 73 years ago in Belgium, Nancy Vanderstraeten decided to settle 42 years ago in Turkey, where everyone calls her Naciye. She was diagnosed 7 years ago with Parkinson, and 3 years ago she started boxing to combat the effects of her disease on the advice of her doctor; since then she assures that she no longer has to take so many medications, that tremors have been reduced and that she now walks much better and without the help of a cane.
