Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem Imamoğlu confirmed on Saturday that he has been infected with the coronavirus after testing positive for COVID-19. For now the mayor of the Turkish city is receiving treatment in a hospital, but his health is good. The news comes at a time when Istanbul accumulates 40% of the positives in all of Turkey, with 5 times more infections than Ankara.
