Turkey, caravans demand grow amidst pandemic

Pandemic triggers demand for caravans in Turkey by 300%

The coronavirus pandemic has completely transformed travel habits; with the majority of hotels closed, the fear of contagion, and a greater interest in nature tourism, many people who seek to get away from the crowds are interested in caravans, whose demand has skyrocketed up to 300%, to the point that the production in 2020 was not enough to cover the purchase requests. In Turkey, the price of a caravan ranges from 70,000 liras (7,000 euros) the cheapest to 700,000 liras (70,000 euros) one with luxury equipment.
