A man was recorded by security cameras assaulting the door of the Armenian Orthodox Church of Saint Gregory Lusaveriç (Surp Krikor Lusaveriç Kilisesi), located in the Asian district of Üsküdar in Istanbul, and tearing off the metal cross that decorated the entrance. The incident occurred a week ago, and the individual has already been arrested and charged with a hate crime, while the cross has already been restored.
