Coinciding with the 2nd day of the Feast of Sacrifice, and despite the increase in infections in Turkey, Istanbul’s famous İstiklal Avenue appeared yesterday full of thousands of walkers and tourists, both national and foreign. Yesterday daily coronavirus infections increased to 8,151 positives in 24 hours, while 59 people died of COVID-19, according to data from the Health Ministry.
