A report prepared by the well-known navigation systems company TomTom places Istanbul as the city with the worst traffic in the world, with an average of 142 hours a year lost in traffic jams. The so-called TomTom Traffic Index 2021 is headed by Istanbul, closely followed by Moscow; in third place is Kiev, while Bogota (Colombia) and Mumbai (India) occupy the 4th and 5th place, respectively.
