While Istanbul was experiencing its second curfew this weekend to curb contagions by coronavirus, new images come of how animals reoccupy the space left by human beings. In this case, it was the governor of Istanbul, Ali Yerlikaya, who shared on Twitter a video of a group of dolphins swimming at sunset in front of the historical peninsula while an empty ferry passes by. “Now it is their turn to enjoy Istanbul,” wrote the governor.
