Another mysterious metal monolith like those seen all over the world has appeared this time in Şanlıurfa (Turkey) near Göbeklitepe, the oldest sanctuary of Humanity. It was the inhabitants of the area who alerted the gendarmes on Friday when they found the monolith in a wasteland. An investigation has been launched to find out who and how placed the monolith, but experts who have examined it have determined that the strange text engraved on it is written in the ancient language of the Göktürk Turks (a nomadic people who dominated the steppes of Central Asia 1,500 years ago); the enigmatic inscription would translate as “If you wish to see the Moon, look at the sky.”
