Despite the coronavirus pandemic, some 87,000 tourists visited Cappadocia last November, one of the main destinations for tourism in Turkey, famous for its impressive landscapes, its rocky monasteries, its underground cities and its balloon tours. The Zelve Ruins, the Göreme Open Air Museum, and the Kaymaklı Underground City were the most visited places.
