9 members of the same family, including 8 children (a mother, her six children and two nephews), died last night during a terrible fire that broke out in an apartment in the city of Bursa, northwestern Turkey. The causes of the fire are being investigated, but it is believed that it could have been caused by a stove and that the victims, all of them Syrian refugees residing in Turkey, died of smoke poisoning.
