17 people were injured, 3 of whom are in serious condition, following a multiple accident that occurred on Sunday on the TEM trans-European highway as it passed through the Sakarya province, northwest of Turkey, when 27 vehicles collided on the section in the direction to Ankara, in an incident attributed to rain. The event forced to cut off traffic between Istanbul and the Turkish capital for an hour until some injured trapped in their cars could be rescued by firefighters.
