For first time in almost two months, people from 65 years of age and older have been able to take to the streets this Sunday in Turkey for a walk for 4 hours, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., after last March the government ordered them to stay home. In large cities such as Istanbul or Ankara, they have been able to walk alone since the rest of the population was under curfew. “The day you have waited for has arrived,” said the Turkish Minister of Health, who nevertheless reminded the elderly that they should wear a mask.
