A woman died in western Turkey due to strong storms accompanied by hurricane-force winds and rains that affected Balıkesir, Aydın and Manisa provinces in the last 24 hours, knocking down trees and light poles, tearing roofs off houses, and causing flooding and chaos. The victim died when the strong wind collapsed a wall on her. Two other people were injured by a lightning strike.
