Two dead in Istanbul after two ships collide in the Bosphorus

On Thursday, a 180-meter-long Portuguese-flagged freighter, the AS ROSAILA, collided with a fishing boat in the waters of the Bosphorus Strait, off the coast of Istanbul, near the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge. The collision caused the sinking of the fishing boat and the immediate death of one of its occupants, while two others were injured, one of them later dying in the hospital from his injuries.
